1-Year Coverage1. Our Promise
At Simply Modern Scents, we believe your home deserves clean, consistent, long-lasting scent — every day, in every room. Each of our electric diffusers is built and tested to a high standard and backed by the support below, because your peace of mind matters to us.
2. What's Covered & Warranty Term
This Limited Warranty applies to all Simply Modern Scents electric diffusers, including the SMS60, SMS150, SMS330, and SMS1000 (freestanding and HVAC-integrated).
Coverage period: For one (1) year from the date your diffuser is marked as delivered, Simply Modern Scents will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any diffuser or component that fails due to defects in materials or workmanship — at no cost to you.
3. How to Get Warranty Service

- Proof of delivery: Provide your order number and delivery confirmation
- Troubleshooting: Our team may walk you through a few quick checks first
- Shipping: If a repair or replacement is approved, we'll send you a prepaid return label
4. What's Not Covered
To keep this warranty fair and protect every customer, the following void coverage:
- Damage from misuse, neglect, drops, or improper maintenance
- Cosmetic wear (scratches, discoloration) that doesn't affect function
- Shipping damage not reported within 5 days of delivery
- Use of non–Simply Modern Scents or substandard scent oils (see below)
- Tampering, disassembly, or attempts to modify or reverse-engineer the unit
- Repairs by unauthorized technicians or third parties
- Use of solvents, abrasive cleaners, or harsh chemicals
- Electrical modifications or use of non-approved power supplies
- Improper HVAC installation not performed or approved by Simply Modern Scents
Oil-usage condition: Our diffusers are engineered for pure, undiluted Simply Modern Scents oils. Oils outside our specifications can introduce impurities that damage the atomizing components. If our team determines that non-approved oils caused the failure, this warranty is void and any repair cost is the customer's responsibility.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the original diffuser, at our sole discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simply Modern Scents is not responsible for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages — including loss of use, loss of business, or inconvenience — or for damage to personal property (furnishings, electronics, finishes, art, or collectibles), regardless of proximity to the diffuser. No claim shall exceed the original purchase price of the diffuser. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive.
By using our products, the customer accepts responsibility for the placement, use, and associated risks within their environment. This limitation remains in effect even if Simply Modern Scents was advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Transferability
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
