How does cold-air diffusion work?
Your diffuser uses waterless cold-air atomization. It turns pure scent oil into an ultra-fine, dry micro-mist — with no heat and no water — so the scent stays true to the bottle and spreads evenly through your space. Because the oil is never diluted, a little goes a long way.
Is cold-air diffusion safe to use at home?
There’s no flame, no heat, and no water or steam — just a fine, dry mist of scent oil. We use premium, IFRA-compliant scent oils that are free from phthalates, parabens, and synthetic dyes. As with any home scenting, use indoors, keep the unit and oils out of reach of children and pets, and discontinue use if any irritation occurs.
How is it different from an ultrasonic diffuser?
Ultrasonic diffusers mix oil with water and release a damp mist, which dilutes the scent and adds humidity to the room. Cold-air atomization is completely waterless — it disperses the oil directly as a dry micro-mist, so the scent is stronger and longer-lasting, with no water to refill, no dampness, and no residue.
Can I control my diffuser from my phone?

Can I use other brands’ scent oils?
We recommend using only Simply Modern Scents approved diffuser oils, which are formulated specifically for cold-air atomization. Thicker, diluted, or water-based oils from other brands can clog or damage the unit — and using non-approved oils will void your warranty.
Does my diffuser come with a warranty?
Yes — your diffuser is covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects. Adding water, diluting oils, modifying the unit, or using non-approved oils will void it. If anything isn’t working right, email Simplymodernscents@gmail.com with your order number and we’ll make it right.

Most orders are delivered in 3 to 5 business days, a little longer during peak seasons. We currently ship within the United States only.

Returns are accepted on unopened, unused items within 10 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, opened or used items cannot be returned, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Once an order ships, lost or damaged packages are resolved through a claim with the carrier.
